This is a book meant for anyone who enjoys swashbuckling tales of adventure, action, suspense and mystery thrillers. As a fan of the genre myself, it was easy to get engaged with the story being told and find myself following the exploits of these pirates and the protagonist himself. More than action and adventure though, the author did a great job of creating authentic characters that you could relate to or feel for, creating emotional moments that stuck out and created bonds between the characters that truly strengthened the story being told.
