Hollywood Book Reviews
Killuminati is one of the most thrilling books I have read in the recent past. The author knows how to capture the reader’s attention with the action, drama, dialog, and events in this book. Author Ferdinand Regensburger’s writing skills are far above average as he demonstrates excellence in his art and gifted in narration. Reading this book will make you feel as if you are part of the action in the book as it will keep your attention and draw you in. Killuminati is an exciting book that is easy to get caught up by the events and the activities which the characters engage in. Both young and older readers can easily follow the happenings without having the characters or the events mixed up. I like how Ferdinand Regensburger named his characters, as each major character has a unique name and unique trait which makes them stand out from the rest.
Killuminati starts out nice and easy. The author’s vivid description at the beginning of the book was one of my favorite aspects of Ferdinand Regensburger’s writing. He gives information to get you to understand the book while still leaving out some details so that you can get the urge to keep reading. Ferdinand Regensburger’s amazing writing and research skills are also displayed as one reads on. The author uses the right technical terms depending on the setting or the events. You will notice the change of phrases or conversations when the setting shifts to government, technology, homes, or just casual talks between friends. Killuminati gets more interesting as the reader flips the pages.
In the book, we follow an interesting character and his associates; Sir William Watson.
From the outside, Watson looks like any other average man. You however have to stay with him to know what is eating him up. This man was part of the infamous Illuminati cult. While a member of the Illuminati, Watson enjoyed life and could get whatever he wished for. Something however happened and he got kicked out of this group. Angry and irritated, Watson planned on using his tech skills to cause havoc, not just in his city, but in different locations in the world. Watson, together with his partner, planned to create a computer virus which would affect every electronic device on earth. This may have seemed like a dumb move even for a dejected man but the author’s narration makes Watson appear as if he is doing what was necessary.
I enjoyed how the author took us through the whole process of making the computer virus. His knowledge in technology, science, and government operations is admirable. The character Watson is also perfectly developed to suit his traits. Watson and Hopkins were some of my favorite characters because of how they cooperated. Another favorite was Doug Faukker. He was among the heroes in the book. I was also impressed how the author portrayed villains in the book. I enjoyed following the antagonists as much as the heroes in the book, as the author perfectly showed how victimized they were even when the villains were scheming on something destructive. Killuminati is truly an engrossing read for all literary tastes.
