Anyone working in government would need to read this book because of how bare the author has laid out problems affecting citizens. Author Joseph Albert Gorski has written an incredible book which should get the attention of those in authority. The author writes from experience with the passion he has to see every working citizen get what they deserve. Joseph Albert Gorski discusses the realities people face, without sugar-coating issues. I applaud him for being brave enough to put in writing struggles many Americans face. Joseph Albert Gorski recognizes the concerns of the working class and by writing this book, he created awareness of the realities we all face.
One thing every reader will love about this book is the integrity displayed by the author. Joseph Albert Gorski puts the government in its place and calls out some of its policies which have not helped citizens. The book will teach readers there is no shame in holding the government accountable, as citizens pay taxes to get services from governments and if the government fails to deliver, then citizens are free to question the government. Joseph Albert Gorski delivers his message in a modest way, free from intense sentiments or rage – even when you can tell he feels as if the systems have let him and many working Americans down.
There are so many enlightening topics in the book. One chapter I would encourage everyone to read through and understand deeply is the chapter on challenges with government’s involvement within the economy. The discussions in this chapter are sobering and well researched. The reader gets the satisfaction of understanding the structural roles of systems and the duties of citizens. I respect Joseph Albert Gorski because he gets to be brutal with the truth. The author is objective with the solutions he offers and straightforward with his political leanings. The sincerity in Joseph Albert Gorski’s text is one of the most compelling reasons this book is a must-read.
“2012: The Weak Economy and How to Deal with It to Empower the Citizens” may be a short book but the text is full of wisdom. Any concerned tax-paying citizen should read the whole book. I enjoyed the discussions and even wished the author made the book longer. Joseph Albert Gorski uses uncomplicated language which is easily comprehensible by a wide reading audience, from young readers to senior citizens. By reading this book, you will learn where many other Americans come from. The history lessons were a plus too. The author writes about political and historical events and how they have for years, shaped America’s economy.
This book is an economic, historical, and political encyclopedia – all in one. The arrangements of topics and layout of points makes the reading experience easy and enjoyable. I would encourage more students to read this book, as the author did an amazing job defining and explaining the realities of many voiceless taxpayers – I applaud him for that.
