Helping to prepare the way for both believers and non-believers, author Norman B Talsoe’s, God, The Here and The Hereafter, brings forth an insightful and thought-provoking work which may just cause many readers to take a pause and reflect on their lives and their relationship with Jesus.

Within this work, author Norman B. Talsoe offers a teaching of the way to salvation, with an emphasis on looking at what is to come. Summarily, his work in this book covers the last seven years of tribulation leading to Christ’s return. Initially prompted by a visionary dream from God to become a first-time author at the age of 82, author Talsoe embarked on a literary journey which most would never consider at his age. However, for Norman B. Talsoe, this was a divine mission requested by God, for him to Evangelize the world by spreading the word of God, instilling hope, and instructing those that will listen for life in heaven, during, what many now believe to be the end times.

Although feeling he was tasked with the impossible, author Talsoe has produced a magnificent work which will remain with readers long after the final page. Moreover, the narrative this work encompasses has been thoughtfully put together; it is well detailed, organized and offers a deep exploration of the way to salvation. Additionally, author Talsoe‘s work is insightful and inspiring, as he offers throughout the work diligent cohesive references to the laws of the Universe, scientific proof, as well as other intriguing comparisons.

Organized into three primary sections which embody the overall theme as mentioned in the title God The Here and The Hereafter, the text thoroughly brings into focus pertinent elements for each section. Section 1 pursues an examination of God viewed through many facets including atheist beliefs, Old and New Covenant Blood Relationship, and God vs. Satan. Next, Section 2 moves on to The Here including discourse on Satan’s role, The Beast from the Sea, Daniel followed by discrepancies in Daniel, as well as delving into the Shroud of Turin. Last but not least is Section 3, The Hereafter engages with exploration into Matthew 24, a Tribulation overview, Will Born Again Believers Experience the Tribulation, also offering studies into the book of Revelations and Armageddon.

Altogether I enjoyed reading God, The Here and The Hereafter, by Norman B. Talsoe.  It was an exploration into biblical scripture which I found simply fascinating and would definitely recommend to interested readers. Written to help both believers and non-believers, this spiritual read serves up an interesting portion of food for the mind, spiritual body, and soul.
