My thoughts frequently wander to the notion that other distant exoplanets might be home to intelligent life forms, potentially offering a profound opportunity for altering our occasionally impolite and hazardous human tendencies. Such encounters could potentially catalyze a change in our collective consciousness, leading to a kinder and more enlightened approach to decision-making for the greater good of humanity. Throughout my journey of cosmic contemplation, I have found inspiration in the work of the esteemed astronomer, Carl Sagan.

The key theme and message in my book appear to revolve around the need for a change in human ideology towards education and increased empathy towards humanity. It suggests that rather than promoting hate and misinterpretation of religious teachings, we should focus on improving mental and physical health. This message encourages a shift towards a more positive and empathetic approach to education and life in general.

Entertainment: I want the reader to be entertained by the book and to feel engaged, which will encourage them to read more of my work.

Yes, there will be a sequel that Edwin Steward will encounter. I have an expansive and intriguing narrative planned for the sequels of “Raising Edwin.”
The idea of Edwin Steward and AVA, his now AI assistant serve as a bridge between the non-aggressive alien invasion, and humans who view the situation as a potential disaster adds an element of tension and complexity to the next story. The concept of humanity needing a hero and the potential for an epic story involving interstellar relations and conflicts is captivating. It will be interesting to see how Edwin’s mission evolves and how he navigates these challenges in future installments of the series.
