Life Rolls Along is a rousing book which will have you engrossed from the very first page. Author Linda Nielsen’s writing is exemplary, fascinating and genuinely engaging. The author’s use and style of narration is outstanding. When reading her book, the reader gets a sense of being in the same room as the author while she narrates the events. Life Rolls Along is also an exciting read as the stories in the book keep getting better. The plot twists are surprising, the drama intense to follow, and the flow of the plot excellently executed. Every lover of fictional stories will enjoy this book as the author is captivating and gets the readers’ attention with just a few sentences.
Something about Linda Nielsen’s book will have even the non-avid readers intrigued. The way the author starts a story, and introduces another story while still narrating the initial story, without losing the reader is a true talent. I enjoyed following multiple stories simultaneously without feeling like the author has lost me. The plot in Life Rolls Along is entertaining and educative. As a reader, you enjoy following your favorite characters and even get to virtually engage in the activities in which they partake. Linda Nielsen’s method of description is brilliant. The author intention is to get the reader to experience every part of the book, something which makes the reading experience more exhilarating.
In the book Life Rolls Along, we follow Skye Topple as he gets to experience different stages of life. Skye Topple has gone through a lot as a man. I enjoyed this character because he could go above and beyond for what he wanted. Skye Topple could risk it all and even get himself in trouble. As a character, the reader is able to enjoy the adventures of Skye as the author made him solid and gave his compact traits. Skye Topple is not perfect. He gets betrayed by his wife and the son of a business partner; something that makes him reveal a side of him not many knew. Following Skye Topple in his quest to move on and sometimes find vengeance was enthralling.
Despite being a fiction book, the author referenced real life occurrences through the story. The themes in the book were relatable and highlighted things which happen in society. Some of the major themes in the book include love and romance, betrayal, family, revenge, entrepreneurship, domestic work and power. The characters were incredible in their roles and the author did a tremendous job assigning their various tasks. Both major and minor characters were solid.
One thing you are assured as a reader is that the story keeps getting better. Every page you flip has something entertaining that lacks in some books in this genre. To say that Linda Nielsen is talented is an understatement. Her literary skills can be seen from the first page as the reader enjoys the narration in every chapter.
