The plot of Love so True will send you on to an emotional roller-coaster as you live through the lives of Xavier Chase, Leta Porter, Logan Hays, Billy, and many other characters. Love so True is a romantic novel that makes the reader appreciate love in its purest form. The storyline has many twists, drama, happy and sad scenarios that make the book even more thrilling. I enjoyed the happy conversations shared between Xavier and Leta, and how lovey-dovey the two were despite some family members being against their love. They proved that love is a beautiful thing.
Author Stephen L. Vasilas shows that true love between two people who are into each other is possible even when parents come in between them. Alexander Porter was one of the strong characters whom I had a love-hate relationship. I was however glad that he was part of the main characters as he had a strong personality. Xavier was a simple boy who came from a humble background. He had a lovely persona and was kind to all. What made him weak was the lack of self-confidence he had at times. Xavier was not brave enough to face Leta at first despite having strong feelings for her. He appeared to have low self-esteem, which worked against him. Xavier was, however, an electronics genius. The skills he possessed when it came to handling electronic gadgets and other devices made him exceptional.
Leta was bubbly, confident, knew what she wanted character, and came from a well off family. She and Xavier could be viewed as ‘opposite poles attracting’ which was a perfect match until Logan Hays came into the picture. One thing that made Leta an interesting character is how she was openly rebellious to her father when Alexander tried to force her to hang out with Logan. Alexander thought that it would be fit for her daughter to associate with a boy who is from a classy family. That was unfortunately not the case as Leta had her eyes elsewhere. The face-off between Xavier and Logan was one of those classic battles men who love the same girl face. I enjoyed how the author played the whole scenario. It was easy to support Xavier as he seemed genuinely in love with Leta and even went on to prove how much she meant to him. Logan loved Leta too, but his privileged self-made him appear like a spoiled brat.
The end of the book was perhaps the most entertaining part in Love So True. Without being a spoiler, the tying up of situations such as Logan giving in and letting Xavier have Leta was such a beautiful moment, demonstrated the author’s appreciation to his reading audience by not leaving things open. In fact, I had to take a minute to process everything. I was more amazed as Alexander welcomed the poor boy, and allowed him to take his daughter. Logan and Cathy went their way and everyone cheered as Xavier got what he deserved.
This book is a fantastic read for readers who are into romance novels and erotica literature. The author created the plot brilliantly and made great characters. You will enjoy reading every chapter in this book and feel virtually connected to the main characters.
