I have always been one to enjoy a great Science Fiction novel or film. There are so many avenues and paths that the writer can go down to create their own unique universe full of dazzling characters and interesting creatures, as well as new planets and lifestyles to inevitably enthrall us with a brand-new story. In The Trecian Witch And The Imperial Admiral! An ICOPE Story by John R. Carden, the author does that and so much more for his audience to enjoy.

This entire novel is written as though it is an actual Imperial Document which was translated from manuscripts that were written in what is referred to as the “Standard Galactic” language. It is explained this is the official language of the Interstellar Condominium of Planets and Empires, otherwise known as ICOPE. See, when Reptiloids speak, they do so telepathically, so this document was translated from their telepathic language to the Standard Galactic language and in turn, to the language of the reader so we can get a better understanding of this world we find ourselves in. It is a completely new take on the genre which I totally enjoyed!

This tale goes on to explore the origins and powers of the Trecian Witch as well as the scientific advances of the Empire and how neither are the most powerful force in this Universe, but rather there is a greater force at play. Evidently, this force has defeated both the Trecian Witch and the Empire fleet and is now known for its incredible strength. This powerful being is not something to take lightly, as you will find out as the tale goes on.

This author has an intriguing writing style which captures your attention effortlessly and draws you into the story within the first few pages. I found myself not wanting to put this book down and wanting to know the next move of each of the main players in this incredibly detailed and entertaining story. I personally feel that anyone who has even the slightest interest in Science Fiction and Fantasy novels will enjoy this novel and will not want to put it down. It’s in-depth details of this fictional Universe, the different types of beings who inhabit it, and the powers from both the Trecian Witch and the Empire makes for an enthralling read. And when you see who is able to conquer them both, in the end, it makes it well worth the ride. Pick up your copy of “The Trecian Witch And The Imperial Admiral! An ICOPE Story” by John R.
